This situation was not new as the scalpers were familiar with where people would be stuck. We missed the game entirely. Upon arrival at the stadium, halftime was already over. We were still outside the parking lot. I handed my tickets to a couple on the corner and drove to a nearby sports bar to finish watching the game. It might seem trivial, but having experienced four strokes, this was too much to waste due to San Diego's inability to handle a sold-out game. I now feel somewhat relieved.
